Product Description
Bühler roller mills were the workhorses of mid-century flour milling in the U.S. grain belt. According to publicly filed asbestos litigation records, main drives on many pre-1985 installations allegedly used woven asbestos-fabric belts and friction components rated for the continuous, dust-laden operating conditions inside a flour mill’s break-and-reduction floors. Belt replacement, tensioning, and drive-pulley servicing allegedly released respirable asbestos fibers during routine maintenance.
