Product Description
Schlumberger wireline perforating operations allegedly used asbestos-fabric mounting pads, blast mats, and heat-shield cloth around perforating gun carriers and shaped-charge assemblies to allegedly contain heat and pressure from the shot, according to publicly filed asbestos litigation records. Wireline engineers and gun loaders allegedly cut, wrapped, and disposed of the pads at the rig site and back at the Schlumberger district shop, allegedly releasing fiber during assembly and post-shot cleanup.

Oilfield electricians allegedly wired the firing heads. Roughnecks and derrickmen allegedly stood on the rig floor as the guns came out of the hole.
